Doing a Favor

My friend asked me to take care of his pet bird for two weeks because she needed to come home to visit her sick father. I could not say no because I knew she was really devastated about her father’s condition, and this is the least I can do to make sure that she can feel a bit better. I know that she is very close to her father and is extremely worried at this point.
She gave me a few instructions and ran off to catch her flight that night. I was very careful about the feeding times and other things I needed to do for the pet. She had called though and said that she may have to extend because her father needed to get an operation. She asked me to order Higgins breeder bird food in case I run out of supplies. Good thing this was available online, and I was able to have it delivered on time before I run out of stash.
