I love being able to stay in my bed the entire day especially when I have no work or scheduled meetings for the day. As a business owner, I would usually have some days off from the shop so I can get myself enough rest and time to do the things I want. Whenever I have the free time I make it a point to sleep in longer so I can catch up on the lack of sleeping hours I lose on a typical l work week.

My pet dog would also do the same thing whenever the weekends finally come. He has one of those soft pet beds inside my room where he also relaxes and stays even after both of us had already wakened up. There is something about staying in bed that is truly relaxing and allows me to take advantage of the slow weekday I have to enjoy according to how I like it.

Keepsakes of Gorby

When my pet Gorby died, I knew that the house would no longer be as happy and noisy anymore. Living alone, I got myself a pet in the hopes that I have someone to keep me company while I am all by myself. Sometimes, living alone can get really frustrating and sad, so having a pet was the best option possible in order to keep me sane.

One can only imagine the pain and shock I felt when my pet dog died. I promised myself he will be remembered forever, so I got one of those pet memorial urns from the internet after my pet’s body was cremated. I know how hard it is for me to get used to the whole thing, but I am looking forward to brighter days and to be as stronger as ever.

Organic Market

One of the things I love about where I live is the fact that there are a lot of organic markets around the place where I can buy and source of the ingredients I would need to serve healthy meals for my family. This is the one thing I always look forward to during the weekends. I also enjoy being able to take the time to bike and savor the fresh air in the morning.

I usually bring my pet with me whenever I visit these markets so I would always get a pet basket bicycle ready before we leave. This way, I would not have to worry about my pet while we ride from one market to another to check on the produce. This is my way of relieving my stress and allowing me to appreciate the wonderful surroundings of our area.

Being Nice

My girlfriend’s sister can be such a pain in the neck sometimes. I know that she only treats me this way only because I tend to take the attention of her sister away from her. They are extremely close and she sometimes feels that I go in between the two of them. It can be a challenge, but I try to find ways by which I can work a good relationship with her since I love her sister a lot.

She happens to love dogs, which is why I am trying to win her over through spoiling her dogs. Every time I come over to their place to see my girlfriend I always bring dog treats for her pets. I even got them some doggie skins the other week while I was browsing for more effective ways on how I can get her on my side. Hopefully things will work out well in time for the two of us.

Excited Nephew

When my nephew told me that all he ever wanted in the whole wide world was to have a pet dog, I knew that this was something only I can possibly make true. Growing up without a mother, I consider myself his second mom after my brother’s wife died from cancer. I knew that I would need to be able to fill in the emptiness my nephew would feel after having to lose her mom at such a young age.

My brother is working really hard to make things better for the both of them, but I tend to spoil him with things he would otherwise not get from my brother. When I gave him the pet dog he was so excited and happy he could not sleep that night. I have also ordered a pet bed and a pet water fountain to make sure that the pet is well taken care of. At least I am happy knowing I made my nephew’s wish come true.

Staying Organized

When we have pets at home, one of the things we are often most challenged about is having the place to be tidy and organized at all times. When pets roam free they tend to soil and dirty up the place when they are not properly trained. At the very least they would need to be followed everywhere to make sure that they do not create a mess.

This is why some pet owners prefer to keep do crates to contain their pets in one place. They would also invest on dog crate accessories so they can easily organize the area where their pets are expected to stay. This saves the pet owner the need to regularly check up on the house and clean anything which needs to be cleared in the home.

Making Arrangements

After my mother had called me about the passing of my pet, I immediately drove home and told my office that I needed to be gone for a few days. I could not believe that my pet dog had died on me, especially since he was perfectly healthy when I came home last weekend. Apparently he had suffered a heart attack as per my veterinarian and could no longer be resuscitated back to life.

I wanted to make sure that I make plans for the funeral of my pet. After all, he meant the world to me. I chose from some pet memorial headstones I found on the internet to make sure that we can properly mark the place where we are to bury him in our backyard. This is the least I can do for the one creature that remained loyal and selfless.

Visiting Daniel

My poor little nephew is down with flu for a few days now according to my sister. My nephew and I are very close because they used to live in my house with me, until the time my sister was able to provide for herself and finally get her own place. Even though we are apart, we still manage to keep in contact and I make sure I visit my nephew every week.

I know that my nephew can act up when he is really sick, so I decided to cheer him up a bit by getting him a pet bird he has always been requesting me to get him. I am sure he will instantly feel much better after he sees this, as I also bought a few bird toys so the pet can be entertained himself. I am sure that this visit will be a memorable one for my nephew, after he finds out what I have for him.

Disastrous Pet

After my brother decided to adopt one of those dogs from the local PAWS in our area, he was able to find this potential companion since he lived all by himself. Soon after he came home with the pet, he had observed a few things about the pet which can be very dangerous. After having suffered from extreme trauma from his previous owner, the dog tends to be a bit agitated and there were some behaviors which needed to be worked on.

As a veterinarian himself, it was a good thing that my brother knew exactly what to do. He gained the trust of the dog and eventually started to train him slowly. He got some dog training collars so he can curb some of the behaviors of the pet which posed as potential problems in the future. Three months into the training, it was as if the pet did not experience any trauma at all. He must have been happy with my brother right beside him.
